We had a mellow evening...steaks on the grill and homemade applesauce for dessert, and then we continued our Lethal Weapon marathon with Lethal Weapon 3 for family movie night.
It wasn't exciting, but it was a wonderful evening nonetheless.
Although I despair of ever teaching my children table manners, it's so much fun to talk to them now as they get older. Hearing their insights, and enjoying their senses of humor - weird though they may be at times!
Sometimes the best memories are also the simplest ones.
