Deadline.....

Today, July 1st, was our deadline for taking the house off the market if there hadn't been any activity...so, naturally, it has been verra verra quiet....and so....we have NOT been keeping it in "show" condition. Wouldn't you know it, someone wants to see it this afternoon. I really don't mind though, because it is a great excuse to do the kind of deep cleaning that I really should be doing more often...so...we are cleaning up a storm, and are giving it one more week. And THEN we are taking it off the market (before Simon and Louise arrive).

Once we finish up the cleaning frenzy, we are going to Fleming Island High School to meet with Clay's guidance counselor and get him all registered (and hopefully in Honors classes!) for next year.

I have been taking a bit of a break from the cleaning to write this, but alas....I must get back to work......sigh.
