Paige had a project to do over the weekend - a timeline about her life. Yes, longtime readers, you DO remember correctly. She DID have the exact same project last year. This time it was to reinforce chronological order. Which they are STILL studying. For the past two weeks. Anyway, Paige decided she wanted to do a power point presentation. The first difficulty we encountered was a scanner that refused to cooperate. Not to worry - Paige decided to just take photos of the old photos. Which worked OK, except for the flash reflection which we could not figure out how to get rid of. She did a really good job on the power point - even had the perfect soundtrack "It's My Life" by No Doubt....It looked great. Then she tried to burn it to a CD so she could take it in to school today. Nope. It wasn't happening. So then she tried to save it to her thumb drive. Nope again. Still not happening. She tried to send it to her email so she could open it on another computer. Wouldn't send. She couldn't print it out because she did it on my Macbook, which is not hooking up to our printer for some reason. At this point it is 9:00 pm and Paige is almost in tears. So....I step in to type everything up on the other laptop so at least she has a hard copy, right. Guess what? No color ink! I swear - it was a comedy of errors. We finally did get it printed - in black and white (maybe her teacher will think it looks "artsy" that way?)....so I thought I'd share a few of the pictures she used.
Paige at about age 2 1/2 in her tutu. She LOVED that tutu. She wore it everywhere and refused to take it off. We have video of us trying to potty train her, and her refusing to take the tutu off. Another video of her refusing to go to bed unless she could wear her tutu.
Our house in Gig Harbor (you'd never guess these were photos of photos would ya?)

DONE...finally!
